欧州CEマーキングにおける機械指令 Annex Iと機械指令における整合規格 EN 60204-1:2018にて要求されている製品にマーキングが必要な項目についての記事になります。
一般的には装置の銘板に記載されるものとの認識です。

機械指令(2006/42/EC) Annex Iにおける要求事項
機械指令 (2006/42/EC) Annex Iの1.7.3.項に機械のマーキングに関しての要求事項について記載があり, 以下内容について装置への記載を要求しています。

1.7.3. Marking of machinery (機械のマーキング)
All machinery must be marked visibly, legibly and indelibly with the following minimum particulars:

— the business name and full address of the manufacturer and, where applicable, his authorised representative,

It is prohibited to pre-date or post-date the machinery when affixing the CE marking.

Furthermore, machinery designed and constructed for use in a potentially explosive atmosphere must be marked accordingly.

Machinery must also bear full information relevant to its type and essential for safe use. Such information is subject to the requirements set out in section 1.7.1.

EN 60204-1: 2018における要求事項
EN 60204-1: 2018に関しては16.4項にエンクロージャーへの要求事項についての記載があり, 以下内容について装置への記載を要求しています。
※EN 60204-1:2006(旧規格)では装置の短絡定格（短絡遮断容量）についての記載要求があったのですが, EN 60204-1:2018ではエンクロージャーへの記載要求はなくなりました。但し技術文書(マニュアル等)には各入力電源の電気装置の短絡電流定格の情報を記載するように要求がありますのでご注意ください。

16.4 Marking of enclosures of electrical equipment
(電気装置の筐体のマーキング)
The following information shall be legibly and durably marked in a way that is plainly visible after the equipment is installed on enclosures that receive incoming power supplies:
次の情報は、電源が供給される筐体に機器が設置された後にはっきりと見える方法で、読みやすく永続的にマークされるものとします。

§250 Marking of machinery
marking, section 1.7.3 does not impose any particular form for the marking on the machinery, providing it is visible, legible and indelible. The marking must therefore be affixed in a place on the machine that is visible from the outside and not hidden behind or beneath parts of the machinery.
